Our Hobby

Our favorite thing to do in our free time is to go geocaching. If you have no idea what I am talking about, please visit www.geocaching.com. You need a GPS to really get into caching. But, it's well worth it. It's a great past time for families. Go check out the website - and while you're at it you can check out my caches that I've hidden. Go to the website - click on the button on the left hand side that says "Hide and Seek a Cache" and then search by zip code 38460 - 20 miles. Look at all the caches with my username - funtimez. It's great fun to hide things and see who will come find them.

Casey and Nikki

This is a cute picture of Nikki and Casey together. That dog absolutely loves her. He only minds her and when there are thunderstorms he has to be in the same room as her (not to protect her, though - he's scared of thunder and he wants Nikki to protect him). He's a big baby.

The Birmingham Zoo

We went to the Birmingham Zoo on the Sunday before school started at the first part of August. The kids (Trent and Nikki) had a lot of fun feeding the lorikeets - I think this was their favorite part.

First Post

Here is my first post for my new blog. I hope to upload pictures and just give people a glimpse into our day-to-day lives here on Pleasant Ridge. Hopefully I'll remember to post from time to time and maybe this blog won't fall by the wayside like my several other attempts at blogging in the past.
